- Developed and activated a Code of Ethics for the members of the board.
- Created new website, BeaumontRA.com, for improving all communications and trying to obtain all homeowners’ email addresses.
- In an effort to improve transparency, we have posted financials, minutes of meetings, governing documents and details of the new Code of Ethics for the board on BeaumontRA.com under Documents—Policies—Code of Ethics
- Invested in eight new benches on trails (now 15) and eleven new 65-gallon waste receptacles to beautify and make trails more useable to seniors and parents with young children.
- Installed 17 new No Soliciting signs.
- Hosted annual Social Events at Moondance Amphitheatre for neighborhood fun and connection for the first time in 2023 and continued in 2024.
- Initiated investment of “idle” funds - increasing revenue by over $60,000.
- Obtained new bids for landscaping, reducing expenditures by $50,000.
- Received $7,500 Neighborhood Action Match Grant in 2023 and completed landscaping project on time and within budget.
- Addressed long standing water issues with the city in a $1.5 – 2 million project for storm containment between Guilford and Savannah (to begin in early 2025).
- Continued to take down dead trees and replace them after the spring windstorm of 2023 which did a great deal of damage. From our insurance claims we collected over $59,000.
- Engaged a CPA firm, which will do a two-year audit for us. This process will start as soon as they are available.
- Completed a Malone traffic study & starting a Roswell traffic study.
- Replacing two destroyed fence guards around culverts.
- Have accumulated over an additional $300,000 in our reserves.
- Taking action against offenders who did not pay our minimal homeowners dues.
- Helped homeowners with projects we could help them with, such as moving a pool through the green space by Dunbar.
- Increased our landscaping footprint in areas including Literary Circle and along Man-o-War.
- Established a positive partnership relationship with city officials including:
- Dave Sevigny - City Councilman;
- Hal Baillie - Sr. Principal City Planner;
- Frank Mabson - Program Manager Sr. / Grant Administrator;
- Mark Sanders - Engineering Section Mgr.; and,
- A. Douglas Baldwin, P.E. - Sr. Engineer
- No dues increase for residents.
